Crockpot Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs

This simple appetizer or main course uses frozen meatballs that slowly cook in a sweet-and-tangy blend of  barbecue sauce pineapple, and brown sugar.

 Slow Cooker Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs

Ingredients:

Frozen meatballs 1 bag (16 oz)
Your favorite BBQ sauce 1 bottle (18 oz)
Pineapple chunks 1 can (20 oz)
Brown sugar 1/2 cup
Garlic powder 1 teaspoon
Pineapple juice (from the can) Included

How to Make Slow Cooker Pineapple Barbecue Meatballs:

Step 1: Combine Ingredients:
Place the 16 oz bag of frozen meatballs into the slow cooker. Pour in the 18 oz bottle of BBQ sauce along with the entire 20 oz can of pineapple chunks and their juices.

Step 2: Add Seasonings:
Sprinkle in the 1/2 cup of brown sugar and the teaspoon of garlic powder. Mix until everything is evenly coated.

Step 3: Cook:
Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or until the meatballs are heated through and the sauce is bubbling.

Step 4: Serve:
Dish up the meatballs while hot—serve over rice or offer them on toothpicks as a party snack.
